I’m a Baltimore-based multimedia journalist and artist, documenting local life in Maryland since 2008. With a love for the oddball and offbeat, storytelling and meeting new people, it’s likely that you will find me crawling around in the dirt or hanging out a window to get the story.

My current project features photographs of nature’s flora in all its whimsy. This project started as a way for me to not go completely crazy while living by myself during the pandemic. It has allowed me to process all of the personal thoughts, societal events, and unceasing twists and turns that have come out of the pandemic while trying to move forward and create meaning. Certain food items will grab my attention with the way they are shaped, anthropomorphizing them into little characters. I see their personality come out and play with that in my images. Waiting for the right moment, the right light, the right vegetable, the right caption, takes time and patience, and I never know when that might come along. I want people to laugh and smile. Potentially collaborate with the viewer about ways of living through a pandemic.
